Matatabi Sticks are a natural way to care of the teeth and gums of cats. It also has an stimulating effect similar to cat nip that makes it perfect as a treat or a toy. Matatabi/silvervine sticks are the dry stems of the Actinia Polygama, a climbing plant that grows in the highlands of Corea, China, and Japan. Its spicy and sweet aroma acts as a stimulant for cats thanks to two substances: actinide and dihidroantinidiloid. The effects on cats are similar to what it’s called catnip or Nepeta Cataria in Europe or USA.
